Tennis Director Garry Nadebaum Gold Medal ITF World Championships

Riverhill Country Club Director of Tennis Garry Nadebaum has returned from Lisbon Portugal, where he won the Gold Medal in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Championships Men’s 55’s Doubles.

After representing Australia for the 10th straight year at the ITF World Team Championships the previous week, he and his partner Polo Cowan from California won 4 tough matches before defeating Clive Wilkinson and Brian Clark from South Africa 6-3 6-1 to claim the title and gold medal.

Garry had previously won a Gold medal in 2018 in the Men’s 50’s Doubles which was held in Ulm Germany. Garry Nadebaum also won 3 rounds of singles before being defeated in the singles round of 16.
