Wine Club Dinner & Wine Pairings
Tuesday, October 20th

First Course

Pan Seared Scallops
Seasoned scallops drizzled with a citrus soy sauce served on a bed of fresh greens

Wine Pairing: Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc 
A bright, golden color on first look. A fresh note marked by distinctive Viognier aromas of white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. The fruits come through on the palate, with plenty of richness and body. A well-rounded wine with elegance, power and balance.

Entrée Course

Garlic Rubbed Lamb Chops
Lamb chops seasoned with a garlic rub, roasted then finished with a lemon dijon reduction sauce. Served with sweet potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts.

Wine Pairing: Inopia
Like his Châteauneuf-du-Papes, Mounir’s Inopia exhibits tremendous finesse and balance.
Silky, elegant with transparent and pure red fruit flavors and aromas.

Dessert Course

Chocolate Fig Squares

Wine Pairing: Miles 15yr old Madeira
Miles 15 Year Old Medium Rich is fined and does not require decanting.
It is a superb accompaniment to dessert dishes, especially fruit, cakes, chocolate puddings and soft cheeses. It has been bottled when ready for drinking and will keep for several months after opening. This barrel-aged, Medium Rich Madeira shows great complexity and intensity.
Smokey and rich with hints of spices and dried fruits, with a long lingering aftertaste.
