Jeff began his Professional career in 1980 as an assistant Professional at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth, and has been a Class A member of the PGA for thirty years. After a brief playing career that included two U.S. Opens, he became the Head Professional at St. Clair Country Club then returned to Texas to become the Director of Golf at Miramont in Bryan Texas. After 14 years in the same position at Sonterra then Colonial Country Club, he moved back to the hill country. Jeff became the Director of Golf at Riverhill in November of 2023.

Kevin Kinsey joined the Riverhill staff in 2024. A Golf Professional since 2001, and a Class A PGA member since2006, Kevin began his career at the Flying L in Bandera. Kevin then moved to Crown Colony in Lufkin, before returning to the Hill Country. Kevin opened his own driving range and golf camps in Bandera where he honed his teaching skills.

Tristan Isom was added to the staff in October of 2025. Tristan joins the staff with a love of golf and the desire to become a Class A member. His experience in the business world running his own businesses, has taught him the patience and communication skills necessary when teaching.

The teaching philosophy at Riverhill is simple. Fundamentals are a must and beyond that the desire of the student will dictate the path. We do not believe in methodology teaching as all students are different in their desire and what their bodies will allow them to do. Our staff has worked beginners and touring professionals tailoring the teaching to the individual.
