Our remarkable golf club started with a friendship between golf legend Byron Nelson and renowned course designer Joe Finger. That tradition continues today with the friendships still formed and strengthened on the rolling hills of Riverhill Country Club just as Byron Nelson had hoped.

You are invited to be a part of that tradition and the present celebration of the game of golf, fabulous dining and events, world-class tennis, swim and fun for your entire family.

Many families have taken part in what Riverhill has become over the past 112 years when it began as the mansion at Cedarcrest. Many families return generation after generation to enjoy the important history of this estate and the wonderful part the club continues to play in their lives.

Byron Nelson told the world that if he could choose any course to play, he would choose Riverhill. And he played the very best! The course is gorgeous and challenging. Byron himself decided to leave many of the trees that still grow today.

Every member of your family can be engaged in top-ranked private instruction, clinics, and events including junior camps and clinics, year-round scheduled tournaments, competitive inter-club matches, ladies weeekly play day, couples events, Women’s Golf Association and Men’s Golf Association. The annual calendar is continually filled with exciting golfing events and open play golf days.

Our elegant three-story mansion was built by Gustave Fritz and Huldah Schreiner in 1901. The mansion was the center of social activities in Kerrville and the surrounding area. Today the mansion’s grand warmth recalls the splendor of those days while offering an event center with classic and casual dining options.

The mansion bar, garden and grill rooms offer the ultimate in social experiences. The beautiful verandas overlook the immaculate lawns, gardens and golf greens. The tennis courts, tennis shop and swimming pool complete the estate.

At Joe Finger’s Turning Point, the grill and 19th hole, you can enjoy the casual atmosphere with inviting surroundings, incredible food, private dressing quarters and showers, sauna, large screen televisions and bar. Inside the men’s quarters the lockers of Byron Nelson and Joe Finger stand side by side, still ready for their favorite game.

This membership is for residents of Kerr and adjacent counties (Kimble, Edwards, Real, Bandera, Kendall, and Gillespie). It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $395

This membership is for Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under). It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities, excluding golf. Provisions to play golf can be made by contacting the golf shop.

Monthly Dues – $150

This category is determined by the age of the oldest spouse. Required age to be under 40. It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $175

This category is determined by the age of the oldest spouse. Required age between 40-49. It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $275

This category is determined by the age of the oldest spouse. Required age is 80. It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $300

This membership requires a minimum of 4 separate memberships. . It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $250 per member

This membership requires the Primary to be active First Responder (law enforcement, fire department, EMT). It includes full privileges to all Riverhill Country Club amenities for the Primary, Spouse, and eligible dependants (age 23 and under).

Monthly Dues – $200

Monthly dues and initiation fees are taxable.

Initiation fees are required for all memberships listed above. Initiation fees are to be paid in full before application to be processed. Initiation fees are subject to change without notice.
