Garry returned from Australia after reaching the semifinals of Singles at the Australian National Senior Tennis Championships held on grass courts in Perth, Western Australia. Garry was seeded #1 but lost 6/3, 6/3 to the #3 seed Kurt Robinson who is going to be a team mate on the Australian National Dubler Cup Team heading to Turkey in March for the World Team Championships. Garry and Kurt will also play doubles in the World Individuals event. Garry and his wife Kimberly lost in semifinals of mixed to #2 seeds who are also on the Australian national teams for Turkey. According to Garry, the trip home is always great but he said, “I didn’t play the best tennis this time, so I hope to in Turkey at the Worlds Championships!”
